Reviews of Microwave Ovens--Emerson and SharpWhile not quite the same as picking out a new car, you still have a lot of choices when looking at microwave ovens. There are a lot out there, and, let's face it--there's nobody out there doing reviews of microwave ovens. Nobody except for Microwave Ovens Central, that is. And here we go, starting with the Emerson 0.7 Cubic Foot Microwave Oven and the Sharp R-305KS Microwave. The Budget Microwave Oven The Emerson 0.7 Cubic Foot Microwave isn't the most feature heavy of the microwaves discussed here, but it comes with the standards. You have an electronic display, 1-touch programming, and removable glass turntable. The microwave also comes with ten power-levels and time and weight defrost. Because of its size and its price, this model is the perfect college dorm microwave oven. Also good for anyone on a budget, the Emerson 0.7 Cubic Foot Microwave will give you a good microwave for less money. Click here for more information on this microwave oven. The Mid-Range Microwave Oven The R-305KS comes with 23 automatic settings--helpful for those who prefer not to have half-hot, half-cold food because they guessed the wrong amount of time needed. The microwave oven also comes with melting, softening, and warming options, plus 4 defrost and half-a-dozen cook and reheat options each. Also featured on the R-305KS is a popcorn setting, a minute-plus button and auto-touch controls. An interior light displays your food during cooking and a 4-digit, two-color lighted display shows how much time you have remaining. Coming in under $100, the R-305KS is a good choice for those looking for a microwave oven that has a few more options but without the sticker shock to accompany. See this microwave oven here. |
